The Person County Department of Emergency Services is serious about helping you in your time of need.  But we can't help you if we can't find you.  Posting your address where it can be seen from the road is one of the BEST things you can do!! Every residence and business in Person County is required to post its address so that it is clearly visible from the highway or road.  Take a look at your house or business and ask yourself... "Could someone find me if I needed help?"

House numbers should be posted on your house AND at the entrance to your driveway, either on a mailbox or a separate sign, so that they are visible from all directions.

Numbers should be at least three (3) inches high, and displayed on a contrasting background, (ie. white numbers on a black background).
